What we keep
If you buy something, we keep the email address you gave Stripe at checkout, and a receipt saying what you bought. That is what lets you get back in on another device. If you also sign in, we keep the name and profile picture Google gives us alongside it, plus the results of any test you have taken.
If you do neither, we keep a random number in your browser and the fact that a browser with that number took the test, opened a page or pressed a button. There is no name attached to it, because we do not have one.
What we never keep
Your card details. Payment happens on Stripe's own checkout page and the card number never reaches this site; we store the amount, the currency and Stripe's reference so we know what you bought.
Your IP address. We record the two-letter country it resolves to at the edge and throw the address itself away.
Your answers to the sixty questions. Scoring happens in your browser and only the result travels: a type, four numbers and the date.
Cookies
Five, all set by this site, none of them advertising and none of them readable by anyone else. One is a random number that lets us count how many people take the test rather than only how many sign up. One keeps you signed in. One holds your last result until you have an account to put it on. One remembers what you bought, so a purchase works before you have an account. One remembers which language you picked. A sixth exists for ten minutes while you are signing in, and is deleted the moment you land back here.
There are no third-party trackers, no advertising pixels, and nothing that follows you to another site.
Who else sees it
Google, when you choose to sign in with it. Stripe, when you pay. Vercel, which serves the site. InsForge, which hosts the database. That is the whole list, and each of them sees only the part they need to do their job.
We do not sell any of it, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Getting it removed
Email hello@personality.poker and we delete the account, the results and the events tied to it. There is no form and no waiting period.
